WordPress Developer (Remote)

Q: How does the hiring process work?

Apply through the form. We respond within 5 working days. If you look like a fit, you do a 30-minute intro call, then a small paid take-home task (no algorithm puzzles), then a 60-minute technical conversation with the founder. Offers go out within a week of the final round.

Q: Do you sponsor relocation or visas?

Not at this stage. On-site roles require you to already live in or be willing to relocate to Lahore at your own arrangement. Remote roles are open to candidates worldwide who can overlap with UK working hours for at least 3 hours daily.

Q: Will I work directly with clients?

Yes — once you are settled in. We do not use a project-manager layer that filters every message. You will join client calls, reply to client questions, and own the relationship for your projects.

Engineering Full Time Remote

About the role

We are hiring a WordPress Developer who can work fully remote on custom themes, plugins, and WooCommerce stores for our clients across the UK, US, Australia, Canada, and Europe.

You will own features end to end — talking with clients, scoping work, building it, testing it, and shipping it. You report directly to the founder. No project managers between you and the work.

What you will do

Build custom WordPress themes from scratch (no page builders)
Develop bespoke plugins to client specs
Customise and extend WooCommerce stores
Optimise Core Web Vitals and database performance
Integrate third-party APIs (Stripe, PayPal, CRMs, shipping platforms)
Handle migrations from other platforms into WordPress

Day-to-day tools

WordPress, PHP 8+, WooCommerce, Tailwind CSS, vanilla JavaScript, Git + GitHub, Local by Flywheel, Pressable hosting, Slack, Brevo CRM.

Requirements

3+ years working with WordPress as a developer (not just admin)

Built at least 5 custom themes from scratch using PHP and modern CSS

Built at least 2 custom WordPress plugins shipped to production

WooCommerce experience — customising checkout, payment gateways, shipping

Proficient with Git, pull requests, code reviews

Strong written English — you will email clients directly

Self-managed — comfortable working async across time zones

Tailwind CSS (preferred)

REST API or headless WordPress experience (preferred)

Performance optimisation — Core Web Vitals, caching, image optimisation (preferred)

A GitHub profile with real projects (not just forks) (preferred)
