20 Services

How long does a typical WordPress project take?
It depends on the scope. A simple custom theme takes 4-6 weeks, while complex projects with WooCommerce, integrations, or custom plugins can take 8-12 weeks. We always provide a detailed timeline during the discovery phase before any work begins.
Do you use page builders like Elementor or Divi?
It depends on the project and client requirements. Our default approach is hand-coded PHP with Tailwind CSS for speed and maintainability, but we also build with Elementor, Divi, Oxygen, and Astra Builder when that is what the client prefers or when it best fits the project — for example, ongoing content editing by non-technical teams or matching an existing stack. We recommend the approach during the discovery call.
What does your WordPress care plan include?
Our care plans include weekly core, theme, and plugin updates, daily backups, uptime monitoring, security scanning, performance optimisation, and priority support. We keep your site secure, fast, and running smoothly so you can focus on your business. Plans start from £99/mo.
Can you work with our existing WordPress site?
Absolutely. Whether you need a redesign, performance optimisation, migration, or ongoing maintenance — we regularly work with existing sites. We will audit your current setup first and recommend the best path forward.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Every engagement is protected by a Non-Disclosure Agreement from day one. Your project details, business logic, and proprietary information stay strictly confidential.
How do you handle communication and project updates?
You work directly with our founder — no account managers or middlemen. We use your preferred communication channel (Slack, email, or project management tools) and provide weekly progress updates with demos throughout development.
What is your pricing structure?
We offer both project-based fixed pricing and hourly retainers depending on the engagement. Every project starts with a free consultation where we provide a detailed proposal with transparent pricing — no hidden fees or surprise charges.
Do you offer hosting as well?
Yes. We offer two managed WordPress hosting options: WordPress.com Business — the platform that powers millions of sites worldwide, with enterprise-grade security, global CDN, and automatic scaling. Pressable hosting — premium managed WordPress hosting with SSD storage, daily backups, and staging environments. Both come with SSL, daily backups, and expert support. Hosting is entirely optional; we are happy to work with your existing host too.
Do you work with platforms other than WordPress?
Our focus is WordPress and WooCommerce — that is where 14+ years of our experience lives. We do not build on Shopify, Webflow, Wix, or Squarespace from scratch. We can migrate you from those platforms to WordPress, and we can extend existing WordPress sites that integrate with Shopify or other systems via API.
Do you work with startups and small businesses?
Absolutely. Most of our clients are growing SMBs and founder-led businesses. We offer Starter Packages from £299 for teams on a tight budget, plus fixed-scope custom builds from £1,500. No project is too small if we are the right fit — and we will be honest if we are not.
How many revisions do I get?
Every project includes unlimited revisions within the agreed scope. What we do not do is endless scope creep — if a request changes the fundamental direction of the project, we flag it and discuss the implications honestly. No surprise change-request fees.
What time zones do you work across?
We are UK-registered (GMT/BST) and serve clients across the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and Europe. Flexible scheduling means we can book early-morning calls for US West Coast and evening calls for Australia and New Zealand. Communication runs through Slack, email, or your preferred tool.
Do you provide training after launch?
Yes. Every project includes a 1-hour training session covering the WordPress admin, how to update content, manage media, and use any custom fields we have built. We also provide written documentation tailored to your specific site. Additional training sessions are available as an add-on.
Can I see examples of your previous work?
Yes. Visit our Case Studies page for detailed writeups of recent projects, including scope, approach, and outcomes. We also have a verified 5.0-star Clutch profile with reviews from past clients.
What happens if I need to cancel mid-project?
You only pay for work completed. You receive everything we have built up to the cancellation point — code, designs, content. No lock-in, no penalty clauses.
How do you keep our data and information secure?
Your data is treated with the same care we take with our own. We use encrypted storage for credentials, multi-factor authentication on every account that touches your site, and signed NDAs from day one. Access is least-privilege — only the people working on your project can see what they need to. Test environments are taken down once the project ends, and we never share your details with third parties.
What pricing models do you offer?
Four options depending on the work: fixed-price projects (best for clearly scoped builds, billed in milestones); hourly billing at £79–£199/hr (for ad-hoc work, debugging, or evolving scope); monthly retainers (for ongoing development at a fixed rate); and prepaid hour blocks of 10, 20, or custom (great for occasional support without a monthly commitment — unused hours roll over for up to 12 months). We will recommend the right fit on your discovery call.
How do you ensure the quality of your work?
Every project goes through code review, manual QA across desktop and mobile, and automated checks where they apply — PHP linting, accessibility scans, and Lighthouse audits. We test in staging before pushing to live and avoid Friday deployments. After launch you get 31 days of free bug fixes — if something breaks because of our work, we fix it without charge.
What payment methods do you accept?
Stripe and PayPal for cards and most international payments, plus bank transfer (BACS for UK, wire for international) on larger projects. WooCommerce orders on wprobo.com are processed via Stripe. We start work as soon as payment and project credentials are in.
Do you offer a refund policy?
Yes. If you are not happy with the work, talk to us first — sorting the issue out is always our first priority. If a refund is still the right outcome, we refund based on the percentage of work remaining. Full details on our Refund Policy page.
