This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of websites, plugins, and hosting services provided by WPRobo Limited. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use WPRobo services to:
- Host or distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk emails, or phishing communications
- Host content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Host illegal content under UK or international law
- Conduct any activity that disrupts or interferes with our infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
- Use our services for cryptocurrency mining
- Resell or redistribute our plugins without a valid licence
Resource Usage
For hosted clients:
- Websites must not consume excessive server resources that affect other users
- WPRobo reserves the right to throttle or suspend sites that impact shared infrastructure
- We will always contact you before taking action, except in emergencies
Content Responsibility
You are responsible for all content published on websites we build or host for you. WPRobo does not monitor client content but reserves the right to remove content that violates this policy or applicable law.
Security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your WordPress admin credentials secure
- Applying updates recommended by WPRobo or your hosting provider
- Maintaining backups of your content (WPRobo care plans include automated backups)
- Reporting any suspected security breaches immediately
Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in:
- A warning with a deadline to resolve the issue
- Temporary suspension of services
- Permanent termination of services (with 30 days notice where possible)
WPRobo will always attempt to resolve issues through communication before taking enforcement action.
