System requirements
Before installing, confirm your server meets these minimums:
- WordPress 6.2 or newer
- PHP 7.4 or newer (8.1+ recommended)
- PHP extensions:
zip,mbstring,gd(already enabled on most WordPress hosts) - Write access to
/wp-content/uploads/
Installing from the WordPress Plugin Directory
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New.
- Search for WPRobo DocuMerge Lite.
- Click Install Now on the result, then Activate.
- A setup wizard opens automatically the first time you activate — follow it through the four steps.
Installing from a ZIP file
- Download the latest release from https://wordpress.org/plugins/wprobo-documerge-lite.
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Choose the ZIP and click Install Now, then Activate.
What happens on activation
The plugin creates three database tables (templates, forms, submissions), writes a protected upload directory at /wp-content/uploads/wprobo-documerge-lite/, and redirects you to the setup wizard. If you do not see the wizard, go to DocuMerge → Dashboard and click the “Re-run setup wizard” link.
